In ParkFlow, we can set one of five available types of discounts:
- early booking discount;
- length of stay discount;
- time-based discount;
- discount code;
- discount campaign.
Go to the Marketing - Discounts tab and select the desired discount.
Early Booking Discount
First, click the green "create" button.
Length of Stay Discount
We can create a discount that will be active if the stay lasts a minimum of, for example, 10 days.
First, click the green "create" button.
Specify after how many days the discount should be applied. You can also specify whether the discount should be in the form of a fixed amount (cash) or as a percentage of the total amount (percentage). Next, set the discount value and the maximum number of uses. The next step is to set the promotion period, select the car park for which it should be active, and save the entire discount.
Time-Based Discount
We can create a discount valid on specific dates.
First, click the green "create" button.
Use the slider in the calendar to select the dates during which the promotion should run. You can also specify whether the discount should be in the form of a fixed amount (cash) or as a percentage of the total amount (percentage). Next, set the discount value and the maximum number of uses. The next step is to select the car park for which it should be active and save the entire discount.
Discount Codes
It is also possible to create individual discount codes.
First, click the green "create" button.
Then, proceed to give your discount code a name, e.g. "discount code for new user". The next step is to generate a code, e.g. "start15", and specify whether the discount should be in the form of a fixed amount (cash) or as a percentage of the total amount (percentage). Next, set the discount value and the maximum number of code uses. The "source" field will be attached to the booking and may be useful when a customer has a discount code from, for example, a Travel Agency. The last step is to set the duration of the discount, select the car parks where it will apply, and save the entire promotion.
A saved discount can always be deleted by clicking the red delete button, which will appear after the discount has been created.
Created discount codes are displayed as a list, allowing for a quick overview. In order, you can see the discount code name, the code itself, the discount value, the car parks on which it is active, how many people have used it, whether it is currently active, and the date it was created and any subsequent updates.
Give your discount campaign a name. Also specify whether the discount should be in the form of a fixed amount (cash) or as a percentage of the total amount (percentage). Next, set the discount campaign value and the maximum number of uses. The next step is to select the car park for which it should be active and save the entire campaign.
A saved discount campaign can always be deleted using the red delete button, which will appear after it has been created.
